Training prepares participants in children’s nurture

The Children’s Ministries (ChM) Department of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Myanmar (MYUM) in cooperation with the world church’s (GC) ChM, conducted a Level II leadership certification training on May 6-28 at the church headquarters in Yangon.

Dr Linda Koh, ChM director for the world church, served as the main presenter for the certification training. She discussed topics necessary in the preservation of the children’s faith and interest in the church and its programs.

A total 58 participants from the mission fields and MYUM headquarters attended the workshop.

“This is indeed a very interesting area in God’s work that we leaders in the church should give enough time and space in our activities,” said some participants. “The church leaders were very much excited in doing creative activities to keep the children feel important and precious as young members of the church,” other participants observed.

The seminar ended with all trainees pledging to do their best in the ministry of child care and nurture. [Myo Chan]
